For hotels today, it’s all about instilling confidence in people if they want them to become guests.
So when I saw this one facility offered by The Grand in Folkestone (which allows you to read their menu on your own phone by scanning a QR code – which most phones can now do), I was rather impressed:
“If they have gone to this much trouble, about something that I even hadn’t thought about (and I’m super-cautious about these things), then I am pretty confident that they have considered all other aspects of my safety”.
